From 20 to 24 April 2026, PT DIC Graphics became a regional meeting ground for technical and operations leaders across Asia Pacific. Colleagues from India, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand gathered in Indonesia for two important events: the Regional Technical Meeting (RTM) and the Regional Operations Seminar 2026. Both events share one objective: learning from one another while strengthening how we work together as a region.
Bringing the Region Together
The program opened with keynote presentations and sharing sessions led by experts from across the DIC network, including the AP Manufacturing Director, Regional Technical Committee members, representatives from DIC Tokyo, and technical specialists from participating countries.
The focus for this session was on alignment and how we can apply common principles while respecting local operating realities.
Focus on Manufacturing Excellence & Safety
A strong emphasis was placed on production processes, with deep dives into pre‑mixing, milling, and other core manufacturing activities. Through seminars, technical discussions, and workshops, participants explored topics such as process optimization, standardization, cost calculation, and the practical application of technology in manufacturing environments.
These sessions were brought to life through hands‑on learning, strongly supported by the PT DIC Graphics technical and operations teams. Factory tours and cross‑functional sessions showcased key operational pillars, including quality management systems, ink kitchen operations, kaizen and 5S implementation, bottleneck analysis, and ongoing digitalization and automation initiatives.
Implementing Safety Beyond the Site
Environmental and safety considerations were also woven into discussions, with sessions covering solvent recovery systems, life‑cycle assessment, and other sustainability‑related practices. These conversations reinforced the importance of balancing operational efficiency with environmental responsibility and workplace safety.
To further strengthen safety awareness, participants visited PT Theris Proteksi for a specialized workshop on fire protection systems.
Stronger Together: Building Team Spirit
Beyond the technical discussions, it was the shared moments outside the meeting rooms that truly brought the team together. Friendly games of badminton, table tennis, and chess gave participants a chance to unwind, laugh, and connect.
Overall, the Regional Technical Meeting and Operations Seminar 2026 served as meaningful platforms for knowledge exchange, regional alignment, and relationship building across DIC Asia Pacific.
